The National Senior Olympics were held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this year. I had qualified to represent Pennsylvania last summer at the Games in Shippensburg in the 20K and 40K bike road races.

I managed to win two silver medals in the 2005 Games in Pittsburgh against a field of about 40 competitors from all over the Country.

I had never been in a road race before so it was a big challenge for me.
